The seasons pass by like a warm breeze on a fall day. Memories of the summer gone, linger in the mind. What is it about these moments, when time stands still, when we return to ourselves, however briefly, to remember who we are?

Perhaps we have been away too long, seeking our fortune, tending to the mundane, or simply distracted by the noise that surrounds us.

Yet, our destiny calls to us in the still small voice, through the warm breeze on the face, not the sound of the whirlwind. These are the times to savor the truth of who we really are, of what matters most, and of the place which is our true home. From just beyond the thin veil, the Eternal Flame speaks to us of the glory for which we are made.

O, Furnace of Eternity, purify us! Remove the scales from our eyes, so we might see Your face!

Place in us a heart of your making, that we might truly love. Release us from the bonds of this world, that we might soar!

Soar, to your eternal dwelling place, beyond the stars, that we might be with You, forever.

What a powerful profound meditation in this season we are living within. Yes, Lord open our Eyes, we want to SEE! God is so Big and Vast, and His ways Beyond! Yes Lord, shed the “scales from our eyes”, we humbly pray! Incredible post Randy! Thank you!
